Please accept my apology for the poor communication to date in relation to the membership offering we
have arranged with our major sponsor SportsPass.
Late in 2016 all our members for whom we have physical email addresses were sent an email alluding to a
new digital membership system that Table Tennis NSW has begun implementing in conjunction with
Whilst it is true that we have agreed to a new digital system we will, at least in the short term, continue with
our current membership arrangements.
However the arrangement with SportsPass is essentially designed to deliver a new free digital membership
solution for Table Tennis NSW members that is designed to break down the financial barrier to participation
in our sport.
SportsPass is a member benefits program which is different from the ones we have all been signed up to in
the past. The major difference being that it allows for real time cash to be placed into each members
account when purchases are made from over 1000 national retail partners.
Dan Murphy’s, Woolworths, Coles, Ebay, Target, Big W, Virgin Australia, Wotif, Groupon, Expedia, Rebel - the
list goes on.
This cash can be used in any way the member sees fit including the crediting of funds to their existing
financial institution or (bank) account.
There are also added bonuses, special offers, competitions and non cash back arrangements from retailers
such as McDonald’s, Hoyts, AMF, The Good Guys which can be viewed simply by visiting the SportsPass web
site at www.sportspass.com.au
Access to these offers is available through both your desktop and mobile smart phones and are only
available to registered Table Tennis NSW members.
I should stress that there is no monetary gain to Table Tennis NSW or your Club from this arrangement but it
is one which can be extremely worthwhile for you as a member of Table Tennis NSW and will help reduce
the costs of play.
I commend the offer to you.
Vice President TTNSW
